Meet the team
Our team are experienced to a professional level. All our coaches are qualified, first aid trained, have safeguarding qualifications and DBS checked.
Michael Coghlan
Head Coach
Michael is a fully FA certified coach with a wealth of experience in the game. He adopts a unique, agile approach and instinctively knows how to bring out the best in our young footballers. Having progressed as a youngster through the ranks to a professional level, he knows what it takes to get to the top. Michael has truly raised the bar in the technical development of our young footballers and encourages you to come along to a coaching session and see what Tekkers North East is all about.
Antony Lowerson
Coach
Antony is a fully FA certified coach with outstanding degree level achievements in sports coaching. Not only has Antony obtained a Degree he is also a goal keeper specialist. Antony’s interaction with the young footballers is outstanding and he runs well balanced sessions incorporating elements on both fun and knowledge of the game.

Tekkers North East is for young footballers who show a keen interest in the game. The North East has a pool of extremely talented kids who have the desire to go all the way. Our aim is to support that desire and teach the skills needed for them to be the best they can be. We adopt a unique approach that develops high quality skills needed to master the game.
